We collect data, conduct research and train professionals — connecting Danish knowledge with international standards.
The knowledge centre emerged as a consequence of the UN-inspired Femicide Watch project. Here we learned that the Danish state has no national femicide watch — which the UN recommended in 2015 — to monitor killings consistently. That is why all our research projects follow international research standards and principles.

Centre for Economic Partner Violence
A national knowledge and competence centre that prevents and detects economic partner violence.
Researchers from around the world
The centre's international advisory board consists of researchers, human-rights experts and decision-makers with one shared mission: to strengthen knowledge about femicide, partner killings and violence in close relationships, promote legal protection and state accountability, and develop solutions that prevent violence before it happens.
